About the role:

Our client is looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join their team and play a key role in the transformation of their Commercial business. Our client has an ambitious program of work to deliver the CRM of the future for our Intermediated customers, alongside future business transformation programs.

This role will suit an individual who can look forward and help to continuously improve our Salesforce Platform, guided by experienced Salesforce Developers and Administrators in the team. In this role, you will have a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement.

What you will do:

Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
Coordinator system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Product/Service Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
Handle Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
Lead projects to optimize Salesforce performance and user adoption
Assist Product Owner in keeping development tasks on schedule and budget
Perform trend analysis, and develop action plans for improving SLAs and reducing case volume and problems
Present, document and discuss technology solutions with business and key stakeholders.
Identify unused or underutilised platform features
Improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
Handle end user support tickets and also train new users on how to use the software
Help maintain data cleanliness throughout the system via record clean-ups, deduplication, validation rules, and automations
Help create and maintain both team-facing and technical documentation
Peer review team members’ platform changes
What you’ll bring:

Salesforce Certified Administrator is required
Salesforce Certified Senior Administrator is required
Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Computer or a related discipline: Preferred
3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
1-2 years of experience in Senior Salesforce Administrator or comparable role
Excellent technical skills in Salesforce administration, as well as outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Previous experience implementing Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing clouds is mandatory.
Experience in building Salesforce Lightning components is mandatory.
Experience working within software development life cycle and project delivery methodologies (Agile) is mandatory.
Knowledge of environment, security and code management practices is mandatory
Experience working within the Insurance Industry is preferred
